CUSTOMER SERVICE

Know when a tree can stay.

Our customers love that we don't jump straight to removal. They tell us they're glad we found a way to keep a tree they cared about, whether that meant taking off one bad limb, careful shaping, or bringing neglected fruit trees back with good pruning.

CUSTOMER STORIES

Careful around everything you care about

Our customers frequently highlight how carefully we work. Tight backyards, trees leaning over the house, branches tangled in power and cable lines: we plan every cut, take it down piece by piece, and protect your home, lines, and landscaping along the way.

CUSTOMER STORIES

We leave it cleaner than we found it

Time and again, homeowners tell us they couldn't tell we'd been there, apart from the tree work itself. Every branch, log, and pile of sawdust gets hauled away, and the lawn and beds are raked and tidied before we leave. Branches don't go to waste, either: we send branches to feed the giraffes at Hogle Zoo.

A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

A few questions.
Straight answers.

Can you help me decide whether to keep a tree?

Start by describing the tree and your concerns. Ask Sterling about an assessment before deciding on pruning or removal.

When a tree really has become a risk to your home, we'll tell you honestly and take it down safely. Either way, you get a straight answer from a certified arborist, not a sales pitch.

Do you offer pruning services?

Yes, no job is too large or too small. We offer hedge and ornamental pruning.

Can I send photos of my tree?

Yes. Open a text to Sterling, then attach your photos in your messaging app before sending.

When is the best time to prune along the Wasatch Front?

For many deciduous trees, late winter to early spring—before buds swell—is a good time to prune. Spring-flowering shrubs are usually pruned after blooming. The right timing depends on the species and the tree’s condition. Broken or hazardous branches should be assessed promptly, whatever the season. Ask our arborists what’s right for your trees.

What’s with the giraffes? 🦒

They’re our tallest fans! We love bringing leftover branches to the giraffes at Hogle Zoo. Your tree’s next chapter might be lunch for a very tall neighbor. And we have something in common: we both love trees! ❤️
